ten things I’ve learnt from this job:
1. format paint
2. paragraph line spacing
3. tcrs vs cros
4. government is slow. except when it wants to ride roughshod for its own purposes
5. being a manager is different than being a leader
6. some people can’t write very clearly
7. most meetings could be dealt with in one or two emails
8. getting the bus to and from work isn’t that bad
9. i don’t mind getting dressed up properly to go into work
10. kids are more confident these days
